The Rescue Center has been here for eleven years and takes on all kinds of animals. Monkeys, Owls, Ducks, Goats, Macaws, horses, coatis, squirrels, rabbits, dogs and cats and more.

On the one hour trek up to the Wildlife Rescue Center, we pass a lot of banana trees and the Ruis Coffee Company has some processing plants up here as well.

We passed by this audacious entryway for the Boquete Country Club. If you have the money, you can set yourself up in a gated community with a golf course and have almost no contact with the real Panama. Not interested.

This owl is very interested in a cat that is sniffing around on the ground. If we weren’t there, the cat would be toast.
This spider monkey has an amazing tail. There is actually a finger at the end of this tail. It is his way of holding hands with me. A pretty strong grip too.
